Typical Day---Boogie Boarding

Every day so far, without fail, we walk the beach in the morning.
Morning Beach
The tide is out in the morning so the beach is wide, the sand is soft to your feet but firm to walk on, and there are very few people, at least during the week.  We walk until we get "half tired" and then turn around and head home.   Each day we try to walk a little further.  We are up to, I would guess, a couple miles now.
When we get home we do chores, read, work on the computer, ride our bikes to town, or just go to the pool.
After lunch, about mid-afternoon, we get our boogie boards and head for the ocean.
Gail goes out into the waves, always with her board above her head so she doesn't get sunburned.
Board up.
It doesn't take long and she catches a big one.
Good one.
And rides it all the way to shore.
Nice ride.
She likes it.
Cool!
Do you remember Bo Derek running on the beach in the movie "10"?
Bo running on the beach.
When Gail finishes her Boogie Boarding she does her Bo Derek imitation.
Gail as Bo.
The only difference I see is that Gail has to carry her Boogie Board.

I am not quite as smooth as Gail.   I head out to catch the big one.
Heading Out.

I catch it!!!
Almost
And catch it again.
Closer
Finally.

And then the "Bo Derek"
Larry's Bo.

By then we are both tired--it really is good exercise--so we head back to take a shower, grab a drink, and watch the sunset.
The day ends after supper just sitting in front of the TV trying to find a program in English or playing a game with new friends.
It's always off to bed early.
