Inside Our Complex

The inside of our complex is really pretty nice.  The entrance is gated and has a security guard on duty 24 hours a day.

It is four stories high with a total of 36 units.  Some of the top units have a patio/garden on the roof.

The first thing you see as you walk into the complex is the first and largest of the four pools (three regular pools plus a “kiddie pool”).  The "kiddie pool' is about where I am standing to take this picture.

To get to the other two pools you have to walk down a path past the BBQ area to the ocean front part of the complex.

These two pools are right on the ocean and the people in these condos have perfect views of the sunsets.

Our condo is not ocean front.  In fact, we are in the back although we can still see the water from our balcony.  It was much less expensive and most of the time we are there is after dark or early morning.

The main pool has a waterfall at the one end.  Some of the young “kids” staying here this weekend were jumping off the waterfall into the pool.  I decided “what the heck, if they can do it I can do it”.

Turns out what is routine for the young folks is quite an accomplishment for an old man.
